Back in School

Well, we are now back in school! I survived Volleyball Try-Outs but just barely! We had our first game the other night and the girls did AMAZING! I couldn't have been more happy! Seriously it was incredible! I did not expect the performance that I got so it just goes to show how competitive they are! No Losers over here!!!

Hallee is back to Jolynn's! She REALLY likes it! The other day Shane went to get her and she cried and cried. They are so good to her we couldn't be more lucky with them around! They feel like they are family and we really appreciate them taking us under their wing here in Grantsville.

So last night I did popcorn popping with Hallee and she totally knew it she was crazy! We laughed so hard I wondered who taught her because it has been so long since I have done it. But then today Jolynn said to Shane, "Boy I am sure glad you taught her popcorn popping! She wanted to do it all day, at walmart, in the car, in the house, EVERYWHERE." Haha!!! So... when I get really good and figure out how to put video from my phone onto my computer I will put it on here to see. Until then... Use your imagination! Haha

Well, that is about it for me, my birthday was great other than my cold! But I got the boots I wanted and I slept a lot (cuz of the medicine), but it was a lot of fun. Spent the evening with my dad and got lots of phone calls! Thanks to all of those who called! It meant a lot!

Shane finished sheet rocking our new family room and the office in the basement. He said he has the hard part done! I told him to get the rest done this week then! haha.

Hope to hear from all you readers soon!

Love,
The HEATH'S!

Tuesday Already!

Well, this week has been a busy one already. We went to bed Sunday ready for Volleyball Try-Outs on Monday and Shane had a lot of stuff to get done at the school. Little did we know that when 1:00 would roll around that Hallee would be throwing up Mandarine Oranges! And that is about how our night went! Then Monday she slept like the whole day (I needed a nap so it worked for me!) She lay down on my chest and slept for 3 hours! I hate when she is sick but I love when she is cuddley! haha. So like most ppl she doesn't eat much when she is sick and last night she kept asking for Milk so I just kept getting her water. From 2-6 about every hour she drank water which was really good! But at about 5 she decided she was STARVING and I can't say I blamed her! So she started telling me, "Cooookie" Haha. So I woke Shane up (ya that was fun!) to go get her the vanilla wafers and after downing about 4 "Cooookies" and some more water she was out for the count! So ya we are a bit tired today!

Volleyball Try-Outs is interesting! We have a lot of girls out this year, and there are so many dynamics about this season. I have to be objective but i also have to realize that next year I will lose some of these girls to Stansbury HS. I refuse to discriminate against them, but it just makes it harder for me which way to go on cuts! And lastly, it is like completely opposite of my softball team! I know that day 1 of softball I can walk in and we can be doing advanced things but here I am starting at point 1. We are really struggling with passing and setting right now. So I think this year will be fun, but the girls have to become dedicated to really working hard. However, for these girls I know they have the work ethic to make it work!

Shane is pretty excited about ordering his new basketball uniforms. He has worked really hard to get them designed! Can't wait to see em!

School is just starting up so quickly, not sure I am ready for all of this!

Our Story

Hi! I will give you just a quick run down on our family as most of you already know us and our story! Shane and I met at a little gas station called "Harts" near BYU. He wanted me from day 1 but was too shy to ask me out! TRUE STORY! We met on June 12, we were engaged the following year on Feb. 19 and we were married on July 16, 1999. Yes it has been 10 wonderful years together and 9 wonderful years of marriage! We both attended UVSC (UVU) and SUU and graduated with our BA. I majored in PE and Minored in Health and he Majored in PE and minored in History. We have had many trials as most of you have, we have had sickness, healing, new family members, death, and everything in between. I think that we agree that we never knew being married could be so amazing and neither of us expected life to get much better until March 7, 2007 whe we were blessed with an AMAZING little girl! Hallee Jo is her name and she is the light of our lives! She is at that fun stage where she is putting into words and sentences yet she still speaks a language that no one can understand! She is hilarious and every day she comes up with something new to keep us laughing! Being that we are teachers we have gotten to spend so much time with her this summer and as summer comes to an end I am not sure how I will cope going back to school and leaving her for those few hours. We will manage somehow I suppose. Anyway, this is us and that is our story!

Delta Softball

Well, Yesterday we played in a Delta Softball tournament. Pretty much we sucked but it was a lot of fun. We all got something for playing! I got a nice tan, Heather got a sunburn, Haley got a camping cantene and Shane got a water jug. It was a good time.

It is official the Olympics are underway! I love the olympics! Last night Phelps won the first of many (we hope) gold medals! I was really cheering for the underdog Lochte, but I also was hopeful for Phelps because I would like to see him win all 8.

Hallee actually did sleep well last night so I am pretty happy about that! Dukey went nuts just outside the window for about 5 minutes and I thought Shane was going to start to cry! CLASSIC!

That is it for us from yesterday! Not very exciting, WE KNOW!!! Summer is winding down!!!...

The Delta Fair

Today Hallee got to see all the animals while we were at the AMAZING Delta fair! There were ducks, chickens, pigeons, kittens, goats, wierd lookin goats, rabbits, shetlan pony, and geese. She got to come home to "Brampa's" and ride the Brrrmm Brrrmm (Rhino).

This is the last weekend before volleyball starts up for me and I am actually pretty excited to get back into it! I am sad to be leaving Hallee for that period of time during the day, but excited to get going again!

Shane is off with his Delta crew playin golf and I am sure he is laughing his face off... That is what they usually do when they get together. We are here for a softball tournament tomorrow and I am sure that I will laugh my face off tomorrow as they truly are a bunch of idiots! But I love em all!

That is it for today! Not much else going on here!!!
