Latest World of the Heath's

So let me do some updating because I am a MAJOR slacker! haha

Shane- Has started basketball. He had 67 boys try out and cut down to 29. He is REALLY excited about his team and staff and I think that they will do a great job this year! The boys are also way excited to have Shane as a coach. I find that he already has the kids changing in some ways. He made them sign a team book of requirements and it basically is trying to improve the image of our athletes. First thing this morning not one single tardy basketball player in my class! They have pretty big penalties for being tardy or absent to classes so it is great to have someone put some consequences on negative behaviors!... Someone besides myself I mean! :) I am really excited for Shane and the boys and I hope to see that their team does really well this year! I know that they have the confidence in the coaching so I hope it all works out for everyone.

Heidi- So we just finished up our Volleyball season. We finished 7th in state! I know that is not winning, but that is the best we have done in 3A! In 2A in 79 they placed 4th, and there were a couple 6th place finishes and an 8th in the 80's and early 90's but nothing since 92. The girls did such an AMAZING job! I was so proud of them! And the season was so much fun we had not one moment of girl drama! That was such a blessing for me! After last year I was about done, I at one time walked into the office and said I didn't know about next year. Now... I am happy it went so well and I am going to go for atleast one more year and then just take it a year at a time from there... That is assuming that we don't get sent to Stansbury High School. Now my softball players are wanting to do things all the time so I have found them a place to go hit a couple times and throw, but I am not allowed to be there and help so I just let them in and sit and text until they are done. It is pretty boring but I am glad that they want to be so good! GREAT group of girls! I will be VERY sad at graduation this year!

Me and Hallee are getting TONS of momma daughter time these days since I don't have practice! I have to say that I HATE going home and sitting there all evening so we try to do things, but she is hillarious anymore! She loves Barney, Bop and Riff... LOL if you know who I am talking about you will laugh! She called me a dork yesterday! that was funny. Oh yes, Haley texted me asked us to get on the web cam so that we could visit and she could see Hallee so I turned it on and she kept looking at herself doing her Big Mouth! lol... Then she has started this thing where she touches my boobs a lot. And she just kept patting them and rubbing them it was so funny. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it because then I think she will do it more but it was so wierd. lol She is an amazing dancer and loves to take walks around the block. Everyday when Shane gets home she tells him who she played with and what she did that day... maybe she adds in a couple names but its still funny. She can almost say the alphabet, she gives it a good try and she can count to 10! She just turned 20 months... We love how smart she is.
About a month ago she got into a drawer while Shane was downstairs working, she found a marker and drew all over the couches and doll and herself. So I took all the knives out of the drawers and threw away all markers. Last weekend she found the RED fingernail polish and painted her toe nails on my living room floor and yes she did get the carpet! OH MY GOODNESS! Luckily I have an amazingly smart friend and she told me that I should try Shaving cream and windex... YES IT WORKS PPL! :) And lastly dear little Hallee seems to have a boyfriend... Marcus and I went to watch our boys play football a few weeks ago. Shane was already there taking tickets so we were just meeting him. When we picked gus up she said, "Ooooo MAWWWKUSSS" lol... then at the game she walked up behind him and gave him a BIG hug on his back! lol it was the cutest thing ever! I am sure that Kyle and Tyler could also be considered her boyfriends but that was just so cute when she hugged Marcus I couldn't stop smiling she is so cute. She knows all the different types of sports balls, and she can dribble the basketball! She gets one dribble and then picks it up again lol. And definately she knows the bat, glove and ball!

Well that is enough for now! Hope you enjoyed it!!!

It has been fun updating you!

Friends

So it's Sunday night and we are waiting to get Hallee back! She went deer hunting with my family for the weekend. It sounds like she had tons of fun!

I am relaxin in the chair with the ice machine hooked up to my leg. It feels magnificent! I am also waiting til the Sox game starts! Shane is watching football which to me... NFL is whatever... I would rather watch High School or College anyday. So I am updating my blog!

I guess today's tribute goes to friends. Have you ever had those friends that you do whatever you can for them, go see them, wanna help them, anything you can you are always there... And then when you need something NOTHING... you get nothing. I value my friendships and I feel like I have had several GREAT friends in my life. I feel like I am that person that if you are my friend I will have your back til the end right wrong or indifferent. I am in your corner, I will do what I can to listen to you be there for you, drive out of my way to go see you, whatever! Well... with that said I officially would like to thank the friends I have that are always on my side! The friends we have that are always here for us! I don't think I need to name names but I think those of you that are and do know exactly who you are... Painting in the basement, moving desks down stairs (lol), Mudding in the basement, sleep overs, dr appointments, dinner after surgery, just checking in to see that everything is ok, baptisms, temple sealings, etc... the list goes on and on! I can honestly say that friends and family are what make life fun and we have the best of both!

That is my soap box for the evening! haha! So to all our good friends out there, we love you! We love you we love you we love you! Thanks for all you do!

Now I am off to get my daughter! Good Night to all!

Big Night!

So tonight my girls beat the Logan Grizzlies! Ya! They actually: Beat the Shizz out of the Grizz! haha... JK that is a saying that goes around the school. But really they played really well. The problem is that I have to act like an idiot to get them to have fun and play with some emotion! By the time the game is over sometimes I feel like I just got done playing. I know my voice sounds like it for sure! I have what I like to refer to as "Sexy Voice" which is pretty much I lost my voice so it is very raspy. So I am not sure if I said this before, but this is possibly THE BEST team I have coached in VB so far. I actually think it is and I tell them all the time. The thing they are lacking is that crazy emotion! But this group thinks that they could be state champs in basketball this year and I totally agree, but they are wishing this season away and not realizing that they could have that in VB as well! It is so hard for me sometimes to watch em not play the way they could and lose, or even not play the way they could and win! Tonight, there were moments when no team could have stopped us. There were a couple quick sets that we ran so well Marissa put the ball straight down, the defense didn't even get an opportunity to jump. It was RADICAL! Yes that is a throw back to the word Radical! Anyway, that win helps us tremendously! We need two more for a 3rd place seeding! GO COWBOYS!!! KAC

Tomorrow I am going under the knife! Lets see if this can't be the last time this happens! What is it...11 times is the charm! haha.

Hallee- her newest thing is "Jump shake your booty jump jump shake your booty" haha it is a crack up!

Shane- Still going to town in the basement! Looks great though!

Kelly and Reba!!!

So tonight my two sisters and I went to the Kelly and Reba concert in SLC! It was AWESOME! I have only been to one other concert and it was NKOTB! So that can't really compare right, I think I was 13 at that one. We had so much fun and Reba is amazing! As is Kelly! 2 of the greatest vocals ever! I had so many favorites, but I think the last 3 songs were the best for sure! They make you want more!

I am probably the worlds worst dancer but the whole thing made me and my FAT knee want to dance! Then I really wanted to keep dancing once it was over! Too bad I am too chicken and too old to go to a club or something. HAHA... I guess I will just wait til morning and dance with Hallee!

Our football team won tonight! YAHOO! They needed that one! Sad I missed it, but I wouldn't trade it for spending time with my sisters!

Have a great night! I am going to sing myself to sleep now!

Who has the answer?

Someone tell me how it is that you can have the greatest volleyball team and they haven't got any emotion. We beat Morgan last night 20-25 first set. At one point it was like 23-13... Regardless, we win the first set and as I walk to my bench to start the second the girls are all just sitting there faces stone cold. NO SMILES! How do you get someone to show emotion? Teach me that and we could be UNSTOPPABLE! It is the only missing element in our game!

HOWEVER... I am going to Reba tonight with my sisters! I can't wait!!! It is going to be so much fun!

Shane is going to be working on the basement and my mom is going to be playing with Hallee. Shane may go to the football game tonight... Our boys are trying a new QB, maybe that will help, who knows these days.... I have decided the key to coaching is not necessarily being the smartest anymore, but being able to be a MOTIVATER!!! Not sure I am up for that haha... I love the game but more than that, I love the girls, I couldn't quit!

Never Ending Basement

Well, this project of finishing our basement is becoming never ending I think. We are finally finished sheet rocking and have begun the mudding process. ACTUALLY we still have half of a wall to finish sheetrocking but it is raining out so we can't go get the sheet rock. But we still started the mudding process and we have now finished one coat. Next Shane will sand down the mud. Then we mud again and sand again and mud again and sand again and then texture the walls. UGGGHHH!!! This could be a long month! I am putting a time limit on this project if it isn't finished by the end of Oct. I am hiring someone to do it! So I am getting a headache of all this basement CRAP, but Shane is doing a WONDERFUL job!

I am going in on Monday to have the orthopedic look at my knee again. I am hoping to get everything done so that I can schedule a surgery date that fits in with a break for school. My knee is currently the size of two knees put together! It is a little annoying I won't lie.

Well, Hallee Jo is getting a little cold and at the moment she is taking a well needed nap. Mr. Heath is looking up the phone number for the dump. WHO KNEW THE DUMP HAD A PHONE NUMBER! Who knew the dump closed! And Who knew they charged you to dump at the dump! I am SO not in Delta anymore! lol.

Well, I am going to take a kitty cat nap! Meow! Have a Great Day!

How quickly things move!

So I am the worst at staying updated on this! BUT... I was just thinking how school just barely started yet we have already had midterms! We also have just about finished our first time through region play! We are doing well, but expect better! Too many losses so far, but I figure PEAK at the end of the season right! Haha.

Hallee is so great these days! She is TOTALLY daddy's girl! He picks her up most days and when he gets her home she searches the house for me and calls my name all night til I get home but once I do she just wants her daddy anyway! lol... That is probably the one reason I would want volleyball to be over, simply to spend more time with Hallee, but really this season is such a fun one! She can count to five and she knows how cute it is! She says all sorts of funny things NEW things each day! When she says Shirt you have to listen closely cuz it sounds like a naughty word. She is getting to know all of her body parts so well now and she can say a lot of ppls names and can point them out as well. I love it when she says: I'm Stuck! But I hate it when she wakes up at 5:57 crying out Milk Milk Milk! But then when she gives me a big cuddle I don't hate it anymore! She is pretty tough to take to the VB games because she thinks she can go on the court or come over by me on the bench. Football games we trap her in like at church but one of us usually doesn't get to see much of the game... She is so precious we just love her to death!

Shane is doing well, he is the department head of our Health/PE department. He is also the head basketball coach this year. He is WAY excited for this! He has already started ordering all kinds of gear for the boys! I think they will wonder "Where has he been all our lives!" I know that is what I wondered 10 1/2 years ago! haha. The kids at the school are great, we really love them all.

Well, that is about all I know for us! A quick update on my family-
Brett- Got a new truck!!! And is still working for Double T
Heather- Is in Provo going to school and working. She is even seeing someone, not sure if they are BF/GF, but seeing someone all the same.
Haley- Is going to school in Cedar and I don't hear from her THAT much, but I know she is having fun and really enjoying school!
Mom- Is enjoying Lunch Lady Land! She is actually home alone this week Bruce is off hunting.
Bruce- Is off Hunting! (Did I already say that!? haha)
These two empty nesters are probably enjoying their time together more than any of us know!

Shane's Fam-
Harv and Sue- are still working hard as ever but traveling and planning their travels too.
Brett and Lavon- and Family are still in Montana... CAN YOU BELIEVE JUSTIN DRIVES!
Jeff and Tara- and Family are still in Mapelton working hard and playing hard!
Rustin and Kes- Rusty is working at the hospital and dating the "Ladies" While Kes and her imagination keep us all going! She is adorable I have to say!
Brandon- is traveling a lot with his semi-new job but he is also still single and dating from what I understand.
Tiff and Doug- Stevie seems to be doing well, I don't know how physical therapy is going but I bet it just plain sucks! Max is HUGE! So cute tho!
Nick and Ash- and their two girls are doing well. Nick works in SLC and Ash stays home with the girls (I am jealous of that!)
Brooke and Chris- are living in Cali. Chris is working out there but Brooke is in Ut for a couple weeks to finish her CNA. They are missing each other so badly! Makes me so sad!
BINX- If Harv leaves she is still sitting on the rocking chair! Otherwise same old binx!

That is it! Hope I didn't forget anybody! I am trying to hurry! Hope to hear from some of you!

Love the Heaths!

Back in School

Well, we are now back in school! I survived Volleyball Try-Outs but just barely! We had our first game the other night and the girls did AMAZING! I couldn't have been more happy! Seriously it was incredible! I did not expect the performance that I got so it just goes to show how competitive they are! No Losers over here!!!

Hallee is back to Jolynn's! She REALLY likes it! The other day Shane went to get her and she cried and cried. They are so good to her we couldn't be more lucky with them around! They feel like they are family and we really appreciate them taking us under their wing here in Grantsville.

So last night I did popcorn popping with Hallee and she totally knew it she was crazy! We laughed so hard I wondered who taught her because it has been so long since I have done it. But then today Jolynn said to Shane, "Boy I am sure glad you taught her popcorn popping! She wanted to do it all day, at walmart, in the car, in the house, EVERYWHERE." Haha!!! So... when I get really good and figure out how to put video from my phone onto my computer I will put it on here to see. Until then... Use your imagination! Haha

Well, that is about it for me, my birthday was great other than my cold! But I got the boots I wanted and I slept a lot (cuz of the medicine), but it was a lot of fun. Spent the evening with my dad and got lots of phone calls! Thanks to all of those who called! It meant a lot!

Shane finished sheet rocking our new family room and the office in the basement. He said he has the hard part done! I told him to get the rest done this week then! haha.

Hope to hear from all you readers soon!

Love,
The HEATH'S!

Tuesday Already!

Well, this week has been a busy one already. We went to bed Sunday ready for Volleyball Try-Outs on Monday and Shane had a lot of stuff to get done at the school. Little did we know that when 1:00 would roll around that Hallee would be throwing up Mandarine Oranges! And that is about how our night went! Then Monday she slept like the whole day (I needed a nap so it worked for me!) She lay down on my chest and slept for 3 hours! I hate when she is sick but I love when she is cuddley! haha. So like most ppl she doesn't eat much when she is sick and last night she kept asking for Milk so I just kept getting her water. From 2-6 about every hour she drank water which was really good! But at about 5 she decided she was STARVING and I can't say I blamed her! So she started telling me, "Cooookie" Haha. So I woke Shane up (ya that was fun!) to go get her the vanilla wafers and after downing about 4 "Cooookies" and some more water she was out for the count! So ya we are a bit tired today!

Volleyball Try-Outs is interesting! We have a lot of girls out this year, and there are so many dynamics about this season. I have to be objective but i also have to realize that next year I will lose some of these girls to Stansbury HS. I refuse to discriminate against them, but it just makes it harder for me which way to go on cuts! And lastly, it is like completely opposite of my softball team! I know that day 1 of softball I can walk in and we can be doing advanced things but here I am starting at point 1. We are really struggling with passing and setting right now. So I think this year will be fun, but the girls have to become dedicated to really working hard. However, for these girls I know they have the work ethic to make it work!

Shane is pretty excited about ordering his new basketball uniforms. He has worked really hard to get them designed! Can't wait to see em!

School is just starting up so quickly, not sure I am ready for all of this!

Our Story

Hi! I will give you just a quick run down on our family as most of you already know us and our story! Shane and I met at a little gas station called "Harts" near BYU. He wanted me from day 1 but was too shy to ask me out! TRUE STORY! We met on June 12, we were engaged the following year on Feb. 19 and we were married on July 16, 1999. Yes it has been 10 wonderful years together and 9 wonderful years of marriage! We both attended UVSC (UVU) and SUU and graduated with our BA. I majored in PE and Minored in Health and he Majored in PE and minored in History. We have had many trials as most of you have, we have had sickness, healing, new family members, death, and everything in between. I think that we agree that we never knew being married could be so amazing and neither of us expected life to get much better until March 7, 2007 whe we were blessed with an AMAZING little girl! Hallee Jo is her name and she is the light of our lives! She is at that fun stage where she is putting into words and sentences yet she still speaks a language that no one can understand! She is hilarious and every day she comes up with something new to keep us laughing! Being that we are teachers we have gotten to spend so much time with her this summer and as summer comes to an end I am not sure how I will cope going back to school and leaving her for those few hours. We will manage somehow I suppose. Anyway, this is us and that is our story!

Delta Softball

Well, Yesterday we played in a Delta Softball tournament. Pretty much we sucked but it was a lot of fun. We all got something for playing! I got a nice tan, Heather got a sunburn, Haley got a camping cantene and Shane got a water jug. It was a good time.

It is official the Olympics are underway! I love the olympics! Last night Phelps won the first of many (we hope) gold medals! I was really cheering for the underdog Lochte, but I also was hopeful for Phelps because I would like to see him win all 8.

Hallee actually did sleep well last night so I am pretty happy about that! Dukey went nuts just outside the window for about 5 minutes and I thought Shane was going to start to cry! CLASSIC!

That is it for us from yesterday! Not very exciting, WE KNOW!!! Summer is winding down!!!...

The Delta Fair

Today Hallee got to see all the animals while we were at the AMAZING Delta fair! There were ducks, chickens, pigeons, kittens, goats, wierd lookin goats, rabbits, shetlan pony, and geese. She got to come home to "Brampa's" and ride the Brrrmm Brrrmm (Rhino).

This is the last weekend before volleyball starts up for me and I am actually pretty excited to get back into it! I am sad to be leaving Hallee for that period of time during the day, but excited to get going again!

Shane is off with his Delta crew playin golf and I am sure he is laughing his face off... That is what they usually do when they get together. We are here for a softball tournament tomorrow and I am sure that I will laugh my face off tomorrow as they truly are a bunch of idiots! But I love em all!

That is it for today! Not much else going on here!!!
